Been on a Tim Holtz workshop today at the NEC in Birmingham really enjoyed it I was with my boss Ann Turner owner of Crafty Creations in Cottingham we had a great morning I promise to post photos later we made sum mini canvases with corners and keys attached it was fab so by for now looking forward to the NEC trade show tomorrow at stitches bring you more news on new product soon x

HOW TO RESTICK CRICUT CUTTING MAT

HI EVERYONE I THOUGHT YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THERE PERFECT PRODUCT TO 

RESTICK YOUR CRICUT CUTTING MAT,

INSTRUCTIONS

1/  FIRST OF ALL USE SOME WD40 TO CLEAN YOUR MAT BY SPRAYING ONTO YOUR CUTTING MAT WAIT A COUPLE OF MINUTES SCRAP THE EXCESS GLUE OFF WITH A OLD GIFT CARD OR CREDIT STYLE CARD THEN WASH YOUR MATT WITH WARM SOAPY WATER AND THEN DRY YOUR MAT.

2/ ONCE YOUR MAT IS COMPLETELY DRY USE STICKY BOND ON THE SURFACE WHICH ALSO HAS A BUILT IN BRUSH WITH IT PUT A LITTLE BIT ON YOUR MAT IN 2 OR 3 PLACES THEN USE ONE OF THOSE SPONG BRUSHES YOU CAN BY FROM ANY CRAFT SHOP AND SPREAD IT ACROSS YOUR MAT, PLEASE REMEMBER A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.

3/ ONCE YOU HAVE APPLIED YOUR GLUE THINLEY ACROSS YOUR MAT YOU WILL NOTICE IT IS WHITE WHEN ITS DRY IT WILL BE CLEAR.

4/ ONCE GLUE IS DRY YOU WILL NEED TO CONDITION YOUR MAT BY PATTING IT WITH YOUR HANDS WHICH CREATES A AIR LOCK BETWEEN THE STICKY BOND AND THE CARDSTOCK YOU WISH TO CUT WHEN YOU APPLY YOUR CHOSEN CARDSTOCK, SO THE CARD REMOVES FROM YOUR MAT EASIER...

I used the cricut storybook cartridge, for the birthday challenge and a butterfly Martha Stewart punch and Ek success border punch scalloped dot pattern and Ek Success swirl punch, and added pearls and jewels.

Hello everyone sorry I have not posted for a long while just been really busy, I hope evryone had a nice christmas, lol well Santa fetched me a lovely Personal Cricut how fantastic was that,
if I had to sum it up in one word I would say it is addictive so easy to use connected to my laptop or not using software that works with the cricut so you can use the fonts off your pc, but I like using it standalone ( not connected to pc )

as soon as I can I will show sum card ideas using the cricut even maybe sum demos too you never know thats it from me see ya soon x
